Stephen Anen, PhD
Dr. Anen is a licensed clinical psychologist specializing in psychotherapy for individuals and couples. He holds a doctorate in clinical psychology from the Graduate Center - City University of New York (CUNY) in addition to an undergraduate degree from Princeton University. He currently is Adjunct Clinical Faculty at the Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center (LSUHSC) as well as the Program Chair for the Society for Psychoanalysis and Psychoanalytic Psychology (SPPP), Division 39 of the American Psychological Association. Dr. Anen has previously served on the Board of the New Orleans-Birmingham Psychoanalytic Center (NOBPC) and as the Co-Chair for the 2018 Annual Spring Meeting of SPPP. He has also been Project Director at the Trauma and Addiction Project (TAP) within the City College of New York. While earning his doctoral degree, Dr. Anen received an Enhanced Chancellor's Fellowship in addition to the Vera Paster Community Award for efforts within his program and the Barmack Prize for best empirical dissertation. |
